Hi — I'm Andrew.

I've run my own business for 44 years and used a lot of technology along the way. I'm not a tech professional — but somewhere along the line I found myself doing a side hustle of hosting websites, registering domain names, setting up Google Workspace, and providing low-level tech support to people around me.

I left Windows behind a long time ago. My world is Macs and the cloud, and more recently I've been deep into AI — not the hype, but the practical, everyday use of it. I'm a fan of Claude, but I like to compare: Perplexity, ChatGPT, Gemini and others all get a look in. I try to stay tool-agnostic and just find what actually works.

At my age, I've accumulated a fair bit of experience — and I hope some of it is useful to others. That's really what this channel is. No corporate agenda, no IT department jargon — just someone who's been figuring this stuff out for a long time, sharing what he's learned. Based in the UK, though the tech topics are relevant wherever you are.
